Quentin Tarantino unveils major news on his 10th and final movie | Films | Entertainment

Appearing at the Sundance Film Festival yesterday, Tarantino shared: “If you’re wondering what I’m doing right now. I’m writing a play. It’s probably going to be the next thing I end up doing.” There have been previous rumours of a stage adaptation of The Hateful Eight, but that was years ago and we’d guess this is an entirely new project from the double Oscar-winner. But there was a catch.

Tarantino added: “If it’s a fiasco I probably won’t turn it into a movie. But if it’s a smash hit? It might be my last movie.” The 61-year-old confessed he found the theatre more challenging than making films, especially given that the movies are spending less and less time in cinemas as the years go by.
