A man’s love for his AirPods knew no bounds—and ended with him trapped on a train. Nearly a dozen firefighters had to rescue the passenger after he got his arm stuck between an armrest and a train panel while trying to retrieve his AirPod, swelling his arm, according to CNN. The man forced the Brunswick-bound train on Friday to remain at the Lehrte platform for 90 minutes as firefighters worked to saw off the armrest, a luggage rack, and other seats to get the man to freedom from his “predicament,“ the Lehrte Fire Department said in a statement. The man was spared any embarrassment from his fellow passengers trying to film him, as firefighters set up screens around the man, according to the magazine. The man was treated by paramedics after he was freed—and retrieved his AirPod, according to the Lehrte Fire Department. He has not been identified.
