Kylie Minogue issues worrying health update as she’s forced to postpone tour shows | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Kylie Minogue has revealed that she has had to postpone a string of tour dates after falling ill. The Padam Padam singer originally completed her UK tour run, visiting cities such as London, Glasgow, and Newcastle, before continuing her tour leg in Europe.

Taking to her social media, she told fans that she been taken ill while travelling and this meant that her upcoming dates in Poland, Germany, Lithuania, and Estonia would have to be postponed. She wrote on Instagram, “Hi Lovers, as some of you may know, a week ago we finished the UK leg of The Tension Tour.

“I made it over the finish line (Yay) but unfortunately have succumbed to a viral infection (Hello laryngitis). I’ve tried my best to recover fast to start our next run of shows on Monday but I’m afraid it will take me some days to be well enough to get back on stage and perform my best for you.”

She concluded with, “I’m so, SO sorry! I have no choice but to postpone the shows in Berlin, Lodz, Kaunas and Tallinn as scheduled. Please keep hold of your tickets, we’re doing our very best to reschedule the dates and will update you very soon on that. Thank you for understanding – you know I love you all. And I LOVE THIS SHOW! And I’ll miss you next week. And, I can’t wait to see you. Love Kylie xxx.”

It is not yet confirmed when the rescheduled dates for Berlin, Lodz, Kaunas, and Tallinn will take place. She was due to perform in Germany on Monday.

Kylie will resume her tour in Finland on June 23 before heading to Sweden, France, Germany, Spain, and Switzerland. In August, she will travel to Argentina, Chile, Brazil, and Colombia and end with three performances in Mexico.

The 57-year-old kicked off her tour in February earlier this year in Perth, Australia. It’s her biggest tour since 2011, and her shows are usually split into five parts.

She starts with her hit Lights Camera Action before performing her soundtracks, In Your Eyes, Get Outta My Way, and Spinning Around. Kylie also sings her earlier hit singles, such as Better The Devil You Know and The Locomotion. The final act concludes with Padam Padam, Can’t Get You Outta My Head, and All The Lovers.
