Hocus Pocus star Vinessa Shaw is splitting from Kristopher Gifford after nearly 10 years of marriage. Gifford cited “irreconcilable differences” when filing for divorce. Shaw, 48, played Allison in the hit 1993 Halloween flick Hocus Pocus. She met Gifford in 2007, the two got engaged the following year, and they married in 2017. For their 10-year anniversary, Shaw posted on Instagram: “My love, I love you more now than I did at our last 10th anniversary, especially with our new addition on the way! Thank you for making me laugh and love a lot harder.” Divorce docs show that the two separated in late October 2023, and he’s asking for joint custody of their 7-year-old son, Jack. Shaw—who has also appeared in The Hills Have Eyes, Eyes Wide Shut, and Ladybugs—has not spoken publicly about the divorce. She previously dated Hollywood icon Jonathan Brandis and Dawson’s Creek star Oliver Hudson.
