Jimmy Kimmel called out President Donald Trump’s new press secretary Karoline Leavitt, suggesting she may be worse than Sean Spicer, who lasted mere months in the role during Trump’s first administration.
In his monologue Tuesday, Kimmel pushed back at Leavitt for going along with Trump’s false claims of having solved the California wildfire crisis via military intervention.
Kimmel played a clip from Leavitt’s debut press briefing, where she argued that the Los Angeles water supply was turned on thanks to “the pressure campaign [Trump] put on state and local officials there who clearly lack all common sense.”
